Yup, a common occurrence here in Liuzhou. If a car is approaching me with its high beam on, I’ll sometimes flash them with my headlights, however, I don’t think my actions register with them at all. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve also been temporarily blinded in my rear view mirror!

Not only Liuzhou. All over China. They haven’t a clue.

and that bl..dy rear fog light …..

Two subjects will always get comments ; food and traffic. Here is my two bob’s worth – I’ve regularly seen motorists driving around inside apartment blocks with the full beam on and blasting their horn at their neighbours to get out of the way. No one seems to mind.

Inside apartment blocks? Do you mean inside residential areas/compounds/ghettos? You couldn’t get a car into my apartment block – the door is too narrow, then you’d have to drive up the stairs. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone tried, though.

  6. Robert Says:

Sorry, I mean residential areas / compounds / complexes.
