Liuzhou Explosions, Deaths

It has been reported that a number of explosions have taken place across Liuzhou leaving six dead. It is suspected that 13 devices were sent via parcel services to mainly government offices.

Targets included a “hospital, market, supermarket, bus station and government buildings including a township office, a centre for disease control and a dormitory building for government workers, ” according to the Guardian.

News at the moment is patchy and incomplete. I will update as I can.

Right now, just phoning friends to make sure they are OK.

Updates will be posted here.

Oh no! I’m so sorry. Very scary. Please be careful. Why is this not being reported over here???? Our news is behind sometimes sigh.

  2. Liuzhou Laowai Says:

I don’t know what you mean by ‘over here’.

It is being reported extensively in the west. More so than in China.

  3. Shelby Says:

Sorry, I wasn’t very specific there. I’m watching the national Fox news channel and they have not said a peep about it.

  4. Liuzhou Laowai Says:

Fox News? They are a joke. A bad one.

  5. Liuzhou Laowai Says:

Fox News finally got round to reporting the news at 21:18 Beijing Time on Wednesday night. Surprisingly, their report is more accurate than most.

  6. David Says:

Fox News ? Shelby, you expect news ? Jeez…..
